Oh yea the leopard, now I see it , there are few of those odd Nissan's I want to do, and a Japan version of my car.

I just got an idea, why dont we have a 80s or older build off in here. what do you guys think.

Well I know what 80's or older I am doing, give you a hint, its a Nissan, and its the first one to have something added to the name

Sounds good to me. I have datsuns ,nisaans,toyotas and BMW all from the 80s and further back.

Made some progress. Got rear firewall on, with scractch build cross bar, votage regulator, and fuel pump.

Need advice for the gauges. This kit has them modelled into the plastic. Not sure what to do with it. Do I paint it best i can and hit it with epoxy to make it look like glass? Do I drill them out and try to scratch build something? Need some help!

Everything is looking good, maybe try painting them , and then using the expoxy, but dont know if there is enough detail there to make it stand out , hmmm, maybe try and find some gauge decals?, I have some but they are to small .

As soon as I figure out what to do next , I will back to building

I bought some decals from Model Garage. As well as some bezels. Not sure it's the right fit/thing. Stumped for now.

the suggestion was to find pics of gauges stratight on. Print on decal paper. drill out existing.

luckily I have a 64 Porsche 356 which has virtually the same gauges. I will shoot mine, shrink the size in photoshop, print them out.

I think I am going to start on my Lambo kit next, I am happy, I can get the paint I want to use from Scale Finishes this weekend in person at the model show here, just need to decided on what color I want to go with. This will be another GT5 build

Ahh yes, I would love to build the 787b, is the Toyota Minolta a c car?, I cant remember, I am all for that, I just dont know if there are enough people on here to join it, count me in with one for sure buddy

I have thought about doing the same CBP that you want to do, but I would expand it to cover say LMP 1&2, GT cars, JGTC cars, just a thought

yeah that minolta was a group c car. i have a fear the kits might b scarce though. would like to do them in the GT4 black versions too
