I don't know how nutty you are about things like this but.......there are some differences between a '66 bug and a '63 (which is what Herbie is). The main differences would be the rear license plate housing is smaller on '63 and earlier cars than the '64-'67 cars. The windows are all larger on '65 and newer cars than the earlier ones ('58-'64) and '63 is the last year for the fold back canvas ragtop (or sunroof). Those are the more major differences but there are many others including the front seats are different on the '65-'67 cars because they have the squared off shoulders and etc, etc.

Again, you might not care but I thought I would tell you anyway.
