The only reason it became a failed attempt was the idea came to late in the build to modify things I had already finished.

I'm guessing you mean my comment on someday actually dropping that Allison in a semi!?!?

If you think that's insane, the community build me and two friends were all building (and never finished) rigs for were all putting Allisons in our rigs and that was the reason mine failed. They came up with the extra engine for me after I had the interior almost finished and the body and frame completely painted, and I wasn't going to redo the truck just to make the engine fit. Oh, and did I mention the "Boss" of our fantasy company was going to have TWO Allisons powering his rig!! :o:huh::blink:

351 Ford from a '94 Pickup in a '49 Merc.

  • No pics yet, but since my hemi cuda was move off my desk and by the heater, im gonna drop that hemi in a 57 bel-air, shave, mouldings etc.."hemi-aire", or or mo-aire? lol. sacrilage maybe but a neat idear. l8r.

James, I have been working on the same idea but using an AMT 1/16 scale 55 chevy coupe and a Don Garlits fuel hemi, great minds think a like
