Foxer Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) I have one that I want to chop, but haven't started it, so can't give any first hand info. The roof shap is the most important thing, of course. I planned to do it similar to a 49 Merc ... cut the window out, cut across and lengthwise to be filled later. The back cuts are what really need planning. Sorry I can't help more, but I have seen a couple done nicely. Let us know if you come across anything worthwhile. Edited December 13, 2011 by Foxer
Mike Kucaba Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 WOW! I remember joining there in 4/2011 and making one introductory post. THAT is one tough board to navigate!
Greg Pugh Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 It's a great board if you're looking for information or inspiration on that type of subject matter.
Foxer Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) Here's a 1:1 being chopped on the HAMB board. May be a good reference showing how it's done in metal. another 1:1 showing the chop welds a model and no in process photos but he tells how he chopped this one in text.
