I have done the toned down version of the Nurburgring Edition of the Lexus LFA. I have been asked to participate in an "out of the box" build contest, and everybody was suggesting for me to get this done. I've been wanting to get it done, and now it is! There was a little mishap with the rear right mesh. it somehow got messed up, so i'll just consider it battle damage after "hitting a rock" or something.

hehe.

anyways, here's the pics i got from my 16th century camera.

This Lexus is hot - on the top of my wishlist.

Perfect look, clean built. The Headlights, exhaustsystem, All i can see is a perfect LFA.

I saw a 1:1 LFA at Goodwood festival of speed, albeit a standard version. Your build captures the essence of the car and has weight and substance...if you get my drift..

nice job. really well done

looks cool man, I just bought the kit and although I have heard its great did you have any problems?

also did you find any areas lacking in detail? (I'm going to try to super detail it)

Thanks again everybody.

Let's see.. In terms of lack in detail, I would say no. With everything that comes in the box, that will be far more detailed than you will think. I personally like to super detail everything, and upon completing this kit, it didn't need to be super detailed. In fact I don't know how it can be improved over box stock!

What to watch out for: it's really easy to lose the metal transfer that goes on the steering wheel. Ask me how I know lol

The photo etch that comes in the kit, it bends super easy. The hardest ones to keep straight are the ones that are in the back by the exhaust. When you go to put in the rear undercarriage cover it might bend the photo etch.

The only other thing I can suggest is be extremely careful with the roof. The a pillars are fragile. If you need to buff out the paint, then I would suggest putting in the glass first.

Other than that, the kit should go together extremely well.
