route66modeler Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Hi dr cranky, Who makes the figure "scale card" I saw in one of your postings? Thanks,Steve
Dr. Cranky Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Steve, it's made by THE SCALE CARD COMPANY and they have it in different scales. I keep my 1/24th in my wallet just in case I run into something that requires it. Look it up on line. Best, Doctor Cranky
george 53 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 DR!!! THANK YOU!!!! I've got one and I went to look to see if there was an addy on it, unfortunately, there's not, BUT i NEVER thought of carryin it ON ME!!! How COOl! GREAT idea DR. Thank you. I just might change my insurance coverage cazza you Sir!
Dr. Cranky Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 LOL! And George, pretty soon when I get my AARP card, I will carry that too so that I will have 3 items in my wallet: The Scale Card, the Age card, and the Styrene card!
george 53 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Yeah, Greg, it's a little clear plastic card with the measurements of stuff in 24th scale. Heights, the proper size for a 6 ft persons head, 7 ft in 24th scale, an some other measuremants. I got mine quite a few years ago thru MAS specialties at a toy show.
Greg Pugh Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Huh......I might need one of those.......
RodneyBad Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Scale card? I had no idea what card till Ole Cranky mentioned who made it. Googled it and found it. and how to use it.. I was lucky enough to grab these scale rulers back in the days they were available If I knew they weren't gonna be around for ever, I'd grabbed some spares.
route66modeler Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 cool, got to get one. Thanks for the help. Steve
Kaleb Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 You can still get scale rulers. We have two of them.
RodneyBad Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 You can still get scale rulers. We have two of them. True but they are clear flexible plastic and I like the metal ones..
Dr. Cranky Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I also have a TAMIYA CAMPUS friend figure that I use to size up anything 1/24th! Great figures in that kit of four figures. Two guys and two gals. And it comes with a scooter too!
george 53 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 You got METAL rulers Rod? Where???? I spilt some Ambrose liquid glue on just a itty bitty bit of my clear 25th scale ruler, and it ATE it!!! Put a nice size dent in the clear plastic before I was able to wipe it off! Smeared the numbers at that! I could use a metal one!
RodneyBad Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Yes, I got metal Rulers. That's why I like them Soo much. But the company that made them went out of business some time ago That is way I only of one of each Scale
Kaleb Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 True but they are clear flexible plastic and I like the metal ones.. Nm I was looking through the Ipod, lol we have architect rulers which still helps
