blubaja Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) Hey, I don't usually make threads on both forums, but I wanted to share that I actually do build kits some times lol. This was a mix of the Testors R/T Charger and police version. Built this into a Trenton NJ car. Although, they use the V6 version and rear interior is a little different. I had a horrible time getting the front glass to sit right as you can tell:/ Decals are from Accuscale / Code 7. Thanks for looking! BUSTED! Edited December 20, 2011 by blubaja
RickRollerLT1 Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) BUSTED! Guy in Corvette: "Aww shat!!! Are they after me because I didn't do 55?" Cops: "We're giving you a ticket because your driving 180mph in that red, sexy Corvette! Guy in Corvette: "Weeew!! Though they found out I sold baking soda to a buncha kids on their I-pa.... OH.." LOL!! BTW, nice Charger and nice scene! Makes me laugh! Edited December 20, 2011 by V-spec
bsoder Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 BAD BOYS...BAD BOYS..Very nice, like the imp to!
Jeff Johnston Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Very nice work. I had a stink of a time on the front window too and I'm still not completely happy with mine. I held that thing in place for an hour before it finally sat (kind of) right. One question. How did you make the white decals ? I make mine on inkjet and I cannot put any decals over black because they are to transparent. I ended up using the blue POLICE decal on the kit. Curious how you did that because the white :"Trenton police" on the black looks absolutely perfect.
surfjunke Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Great build! Very clean work. The windshield looks good from here.
blubaja Posted December 20, 2011 Author Posted December 20, 2011 Thanks thanks thanks! lol @Jeff Johnston, I didn't make the decals. They are from accuscale/code 7. From policecarmodels.com They are for an older crown vic, and there are some that were in black, that needed to go on the fenders and rear quarter. So I couldn't use them:/
