Curious to know what kit this part came from. Do you recognize it? It is 1/24 or 1/25 scale and molded in an off white color. This piece is unpainted.

Any help is appreciated.

Correction, it closely resembles what -could- be the timing cover for a first gen Cadillac SRX 3.6L V6.

If I'm correct, then this is what the other side -would- look like if it were 1:1-

Hope this helps?

i think we can agree its the front cover of a DOHC V engine

now we just need to start ruling out engines....i know its not the DOHC HEMI form the superbee ;)

Given my friend's collection of kits (the part is his and he wanted your help identifying it) I would have to say it probably came from the Eagle. But I had that kit years ago and I don't remember it being molded in this color of plastic. It almost looks like the color of resin. Any other ideas? Any photos to go with the ideas would be nice too.

if it's really old styrene it could have been stark white when new, and simply went yellowish with age. i have a few relatively ancient bits that look almost gold..... post up another pic with a scale/ruler next to it.
