Their website just says that they're moving, but it's been saying that for a while. Anybody have any news as to what is up with them? I'm running out of stuff to do while hiding from the relatives for Christmas and need to resupply the parts bin. I even noticed that the one Aussie hobby shop that had their goodies on eBay is running out of stuff.

I've heard that thier parts are very good, as is thier service. i just can't bring myself to pay the insanely rediculous shipping charges. Ken

I cant believe some of the guys havent heard of them. They have some of the best resin parts out there. I have some of their stuff, and while the minimum order, and shipping adds up, I place big orders so its not that much of a problem. They usually go on a sort of vacation this time of year, but I hadn't heard of them "moving". Maybe someone here that is on the AMCC Forum can shed some light on this.

Taking into consideration that they're in Australia, and they provide better products/faster service than many stateside resin casters, the postage charges are well worth it.....Having a US caster who lives only 4 to 5 hours from my house(and claims to be a reliable businessman) take over 6 months to ship a substandard part is what I call 'ridiculous.'

Here's the secret to help take the sting out of the international postage: have a couple of friends go in on an order with you, and split the postage three ways.

yes the parts/service is WELL worth the shipping costs. besides i oredered from them and shipping here (to canada) was only a dollar or two more than some of the stateside casters ive ordered from

Quoted from the owner...

Sorry about the webshop guys but we have been a little busy, we are currently moving the workshop into a commercial premise at 60 Main Street Lobethal SA.

My spring cleaning turned into a clean out and I am happy to say that the XB and the Police pack version are complete, there are loads of new parts to be uploaded to the webshop, but probably not till the new year...Save you're xmas $$$, you're gonna need em!

Gee, I wonder if these guys do some of the Utes and panel delivery vans I get glimpses of here on occasion ? Ed Shaver

...... I'm not sure what 'Utes' you've seen Ed, But I think the Parts Box does some?. The other Aussie place for Aussie bodied utes & sedans is 'Scale Automobilia'.....http://www.scaleautomobilia.com.au/... Lots of good stuff also. This is the link to their Aussie cars page....http://www.scaleautomobilia.com.au/aussiecars.htm

Ken. Imagine being in Australia in the last 15 years were we have lost up to 50 cents on the Dollar on excange to the American Dollar.

At are best time we had to add 20% in costs to what you were paying and then had shipping to Australia.

But we still bought products from America.

How would you like to pay our purchase prices and shipping, then you may have something to winge about

At the moment we are getting almost Dollar for Dollar, but still have to pay postage.

The products from the Parts Box are great, and we look forward to their new releases
