krazyglu Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Sweet I was one that wanted to see more pictures of this....Thanks. Did you paint that rat on the back..? Looks awesome. Do you recall what orange that is?
rmvw guy Posted December 28, 2011 Author Posted December 28, 2011 It's Testors 1127 orange enamel. I painted the white silhouette of the rat then applied a clear decal over. Sorry for the out of focus interior. I'm still trying to learn photography. The car is really still in the works also. I started with a free body given to me by a friend who built a resin sedan delivery and had the left over body. It's all parts box stuff.
krazyglu Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Try the little flower icon if your camera has one. The technical term is macro ,but it focuses in on close things without the blur. It will show every dust speck, but the picture will be clear. I like the rat decal and for some reason free always makes for better projects This thing looks killer.
Kris Morgan Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I love it. Looks like somethig that would have been built in a home garage by a working stiff back in the day.
geetee66 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I like this a lot! Did you take any shots of the engine?
rmvw guy Posted December 30, 2011 Author Posted December 30, 2011 No engine shots because it is not finished. It's a 427 from a 67 corvette that just happen to fit in the Mercury frame. I still want to wire it and detail it some more. I was mistaken on the orange paint which is actually Krylon Pumpkin Orange.
