Reeves Racing Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Box stock except for the tires. The kit tires were a little to low profile and I thought these filled the wheel opening better I have fixed the right side mirror since I took these pictures and its straight now. Duplicolor paint.
krazyglu Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Looks awesome..I am a sucker for Porsche's. Is this the fujimi/testors kit? I have one and it looks the same minus the fender lights. Thanks for sharing.
Haubenschild Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Looks awesome , i have one of these kits , its a piece of #### right now , hopefully i can restore it to the qaulity of your 911! Looks awesome..I am a sucker for Porsche's. Is this the fujimi/testors kit? I have one and it looks the same minus the fender lights. Thanks for sharing. Its a Tamiya kit

sjordan2 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Outstanding all around. Which Duplicolor paint did you use? The metal flake looks very realistic.
Dominik Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Oh man - i love the 911-G-Modells as turbos. Yours looks awesomw. Pretty color, matching interieur. Just perfect from here.
whale392 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Excellent 930S you have there (or is it a straight 930?) I am slowly working on a series of 930s, one 930S Cabrio, one 930S Coupe, a 930SE Targa, a 930SE Cabrio, and a 930SE Coupe. I have the Revell issues of this kit, and was wondering if the tail light sections would interchange (as the Revell units are all red, where the Fujimi/Testors/Fujimi-boxed-as-Revell kits are molded clear.
Reeves Racing Posted December 31, 2011 Author Posted December 31, 2011 (edited) Thanks a million guys! The color is Dupli-Color GM491 with a very exotic name "Gold Metallic" I doesn't look gold to me. More of a champaign or metalic taupe which is what the Porsche color looks like to me. Masking it off to spray the semi-gloss black took a whole evening. I am not sure of the exact model, The box only says 88 911 Turbo. Its the Tamiya kit and its curbside.
