This is my first attemt at some scratch building, the body is from a 32 ford kit, reworked a Hawaiian chassis and used some drive train components tires and wheels, bobbed the rear of the body, all polished aluminum panels and upholstered aluminum seat, scratch built shifter and linkage, throttle and linkage, fuel block and lines, seat belts, brake lines, chute cords and releases, coil overs, steering wheel and column, wheelie bars, many hours of cussing and bending finally got some headers, hand painted skull on diff. cover, decals were made on my computer, DuPont B/C go really fast Black (not polished), I've got about 4 months of cussing in this one!

Four months of foul language really paid off on that beauty Bill. My favorite of your builds so far. Apparently, the judges were kind of fond of it too. Congratz !!

Love. love, love the precision on the upper fuel lines.

Excellent Build! Could you please comment on how you got those fuel lines so straight and precise? Perfect 90 degree bends. I have tried to do this but with no luck. Thanks

thanxs JPolli, on the fuel lines, I made my fuel block for behind the hat, drilled my holes for the lines where i wanted them, put straight lines through the block leaving them too long, marked on paper the incraments where they go under the hat from the fuel block, and the width i wanted them from the hat, sit the fuel block on the paper and bent each one to the marks ( by hand) and snipped the eccess off when they were done, very simple to do with a little bit of patience, hope this helps, thanx again for looking!
