wgflatliner Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I need to learn and study the different chassis configurations so I can mock up a lifted truck
wgflatliner Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I guess the best thing to do, cranky, is paste the link to your YouTube channel and afterwards delete the posts to your videos. This will save on the forum bandwidth and get usto the videos.
road_warrior05 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Shane, go ahead and build one too, just to show how different/similar they would end up being
ROB213 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 OH YEAH! count me in on this one!!! i start to night, now lets start fellas
moparmagiclives Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Shane, go ahead and build one too, just to show how different/similar they would end up being YEE HAA !!!!!
Evil Appetite Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 So it begins. Bring it on, you Toothless Zombie Hunters! Here's some of my personal inspiration to get you really CRANKED UP! Did someone say Toothless Zombie Crushing/ PAIN KILLER? Thats more like the perforator! sweet!
Hippie Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 OK I'm positive, I'm in. I'm gonna build a dude buggy, with a twist
RodneyBad Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Entering time yet? I'm gonna build in a Practical aspect of what a person can do today. haven't came up with a name yet so well see where it goes and what name it earns. The Street Cleaner. Or The Clean up crew.
RodneyBad Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 (edited) Louvered up the grill to protect the Engine. Bigger wheels/Tires and Plow. Gotta keep the streets clear ya know.. Also lifts up in case the road ends. Edited January 5, 2012 by RodneyBad
ZombieHunter26 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 ...I now regret getting ahead of myself last night. I started mocking up pieces, and before I knew it my glue bottle got a mind of it's own and started putting pieces together on it's own! I guess I'll just have to start a whole new piece?

The vehicle must be built during the set date above, although you can start gathering your sources and materials.
ZombieHunter26 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Ah, thank GOD because I have the PERFECT project coming along.
B-dub Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 this is about where mine is at the moment.. both back doors are covered... I'm really wishing I would have thought harder about my design.. I'm looking for a sketch online that I can use to draw on and think...
'08SEAL Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I just made mud. REAL mud. I used dirt from the ground an water. I will wait for it to dry. Post ppics tommorow.pics*
Dr. Cranky Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 LOL, remember that I called the rules "suggested" rules or "recommended" rules . . . which should be okay if you got a headstart on your project. Listen, if it's got Toothless Zombie Hunter written on it, it belongs HERE! LOL!
road_warrior05 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 That's good to know Virgil because I felt like I was cheating by cutting the doors of my car today lol
RodneyBad Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Well I thought it started 1st of the yr when first suggested. Being that is rarely that I keep motivated to finish one and waiting any longer may be discouraging for such a young lad like myself.. Since I haven't worked a day this yr, gotta have something to start and with pic posting, could just get more people Involved. If all goes well, maybe I'll be able to finish a another one that has been started many moons ago for a race of death I'm not a fast builder so I'm just gonna run with this. Cheers..
B-dub Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 it doesn't have to be just your parts box you can buy and source other parts as well. I don't really have a parts box either (But I also don't have the money to get anything so I'm using a for sale sign)
Dr. Cranky Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 B-dub is right. The last thing we'd like with this type of build is to hamper your flow. Do what you think is working for you. Use the parts you think will help you come up with the best vehicle your imagination can muster. Does that make sense? The basic rules are there as guidelines. Personally, I have a few ideas, but nothing formalized yet. But you know I'll jump in a build another TZH vehicle soon enough. Good luck to everyone and happy building!
scalenut Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 ..My idea is going to require a specific kit for the core model. but it will be epic if I can pull it off... lots of scratchy bits If that's ok I'm in !
uncle potts Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I seem to have a ghostbusters caddy, a tank, and Anikens podracer that I hadn't decided what to do with..... may have to see what materializes from all that.....hmmmmm.....
Dr. Cranky Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 We need to convince folks like John Teresi to sign up!
