c1run1 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 You hardly ever see a weathered or junker Corvette ..
Sixties Sam Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Cool! Good job on replicating the shattered fiberglass. Back in 1971, a guy in a Corvette rear-ended me at a red light on an icy road, and his front end shattered much like that! I was in my 67 Mustang, and all I got was a dented rear pan under the bumper! Sam
jeffs396 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I like that! There's gotta be a FEW Vettes out there that are still awaiting restoration, right?
tjones87 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 very cool...and great job on the shattered fiberglass effect...there is always a vette sitting someplace awaiting restoration.
DumpyDan Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Very good, if you got to junk it you gotta, I will pick it up tomorrow. LOL
Greg Pugh Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!! .....for not putting rust holes in that weathered Corvette!! Someone finally got it right!!
promo55 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Beautiful, abused model! Yes, you did a very fine job on the busted fiberglass. And the frame was appropriately rusted! An excellent diorama car. Very well done!
Austin T Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Nice job,you showed how I feel about Corvettes (haters gonna hate).Great job on not rusting it.My friend said he saw a rusty vette in a field and I said to him "That must be a really nice fake rust paint job, corvettes are fiberglass".
Dr. Cranky Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 You know what DOCTOR CRANKY's gonna say: LONG LIVE RUST! Nice work.
Dirty Gringo Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 I like it agree with Chuck all corvettes should look like this
