jdmfan Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Started this in december and just finished it up tonight its a 1970 dodge challenger T/A . I changed the motor and put in a hemi 6.1L from the charger superbee kit . Scratch built the air intake and plumbing wired the throttle body and heat censor to the intake and the battery and ran the oil lines . Sorry if the pics are crappy ill try to take better ones tomorrow . let me know what you think.
Guest Sickfish Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I'll tell ya what I think... It look's bl**dy great mate! Well done! Cheers Cliffo :-)
Haubenschild Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Wow chris that looks friggin mean ! , all the details on the engine bay look great and I am just loving those tips
Harry P. Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I like it. Two small suggestions: I think the rear bumper guards should be flat black, and I think the exhaust ends should be angled (just a personal preference)... but overall, cool! Nice engine detail, the air filter looks really good.
mikemodeler Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 nice job on that, the details really make it stand out.
Dr. Cranky Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I agree, the engine details are very nice. Congrats.
Bartster Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 This is fantastic! Very nice engine bay. I have a similar project going & am curious as to where you found engine detail reference? I have a post in the 1:1 area, no access to real cars. Excellent pro-touring example!

Bartster Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 It does, thanks. I'm putting an '05 Magnum 5.7 in a '63 Fury. I know, sacrilege to "butcher" a collectible, but it will be nice!
Leadworks Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Let's go to A&W Drive-in...and Show off.........Nice Job....
