hooknladderno1 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 (edited) John, Super clean building and great paint as well! Look forward to watching this one progress. Originally, I was not a big fan of the Lonesta - a little too radical for my taste. But you guys are doing fantastic things with them! Keep up the great work. Perhaps the Prostar will be more my speed... David Edited January 27, 2012 by hooknladderno1

bandit1 Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 GREAT!...NOW I NEED TO GET ME ONE!... Question: you said the engine being a Maxxforce engine was suppose to be painted blue?.....now what shade of blue is it suppose to be?
Jim B Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 (edited) A guy on another board told me that Tamiya Metallic Blue X13 right out of the jar is a perfect match. Edited February 27, 2012 by Jim B
Hessel Hemstra Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 When you look on the back side of the steering box you will find a pin. It is also a solution to drill a hole in the steering rod and glue the steering rod to the back of the part. Maybe this makes the steering more accurate concerning the wheels touching these rods. Your solution is also OK offcourse. I started the Lonestar a couple of days ago. I agree with a lot of you guys saying the instructions are ###### but I find the model very nice. Lots of detailing. I'm converting it to a day cab and have shortened the chassis by about 7 cm (difficult for you: about three inches ;-)) Hessel the Netherlands
