Joker Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 I decided to build Eddie Munster a Hearse ..eerr C-Cab for his own. Since building the Dragula,I went looking for a new project when I spotted the Chuck Miller's Fire Truck. Our own Chuck Most did a review on it. LINK.http://www.modelcars...=1 First off ..the mods. Frame Z'ed,body sliced, axles swaped from left over AMT 32 Vicky ,bench seat w/split back, rear doors,Buick Nailhead engine, fenders from Vicky widened and soon to be bobbed, skull shifter from Warhammer stash (thanks Ed Shaver).Still undecided on grill.. Going for a Cobolt Blue paint and silver scallops. James aka Joker
Chuck Most Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Looks good with fenders and those wheels. Appearance wise it's beat a Nailhead, too.
Joker Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 Thanks Chuck..the mill is still up in the air. I'm debating between a full race Flattie and the Nailhead.Or maybe a Blown Ford full race engine or ...

tooltas Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 got a 33 willys kit by amt use the blown cammer in it.
crazyjim Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Hmmm. Yes. Intersting build and I'll keep watching. I vote for the Buick nailhead. Nice looking engine.

Joker Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 A little update.. Made a split bench from a T-bucket bench and added storage bags to the backs. Then I added a stair/wheelie bar and a rear pan. I don't care for the oval single windshield..plus I also section the body. So I made a new windshield frame and a new dash. Then I added a Coffin sky light. James aka Joker

You will have to bring it over with you on Saturday for our next RAMS meeting/ Barrett jackson/ chilli fest. Rick in Richmond Let me introduce you to Spot Jr. He's a little croc from my parts stash..don't know what kit he's from but I like the "I'm from parts unknown" rep..LOL I also finished the Buick Nailhead...added a crossflow water pipe and an alternator w/bracket. The headers are from the new 32 Ford and the lakes are modified from the 53 Ford truck. James aka Joker p.s.
