BigBad Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 (edited) Road trains are always impressive models, great job mate! BTW, you seem to have a pretty extensive collection of 1:18 diecast Supercar V8's too, NICE! Edited January 15, 2012 by Z06Bob

Jason Richards died of cancer last year so will have to get his last ride. This is one expensive hobby though. And thanks everyone for your kind words. Cheers Edited January 16, 2012 by Sticks
MoparWoman Jamie Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Good job man! I like it, I know what you mean also about how long it is an if you go one more it will not fit on the cabinet. These rigs an trailers can get kinda long if your not watching (LOL).
Tony Bryan Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Come on, add another trailer, you could stack one trailer, or jack it around the cabinet, or get out the ropes and tarps and build a load for the out back How did you go with the check plate?

Sorry for the delay Tony as I just got back from Melbourne visiting friends. I want to add another trailer but getting time is a bit difficult at the moment. The check plate came in and and had to trim to fit. It cut well with no jaggered edges and fitted nicely. Will spray with flat black to take the shine off and add some tool boxes to the last trailer. Still waiting on mudflaps from Nigel. Mate I love the work you have done on those guards and the rear bumper, A job very well done.
sports850 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Yep , I agree , go for another trailer , it's a good excuse to put up a bigger shelf or build a bigger cabinet for it . So what are you going to put on it for a load or are you leaving it empty ?

doogie7046 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Very cool. Road trains are so impressive but do take up a lot of space.

Thanks Evan, You could load the first trailer and then put the 3rd on the 2nd if you decide to build another, will test your roping skills ,... but it does need a 3rd
