Dingo5162 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 These are my two newest rigs that I have had on the go for about 3 months now but have had to bring to a stand still becasue of elbow problems, the doctors at the hospital think it's tennis elbow but my own doc says it could be arthritis no one really knows. Anyway back to my two rigs, the first one is a vlolvo that I intend to build into an Australian B-Triple and the second is an S.A.R. Kenworth that will become a hook loader eventually. 1: 2: Dingo
Sticks Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 The only thing I did not like on the KW was the bullbar, to me it just looks like it's a little too big and out of proportion. But thats just me otherwise nice builds.
cavejohnson Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Those will look great when they're done! Nice work on the hood. I had the T-900 kit and I thought the same thing, I ended up getting one from Sourkraut (western star one I belive) and it looked great. Then the shelf the T-900, my W-900, and my Pete 377 were on got knocked off the wall by my idiot roomate So now the bullbar is on a Ford LTL-9000 (oddly enough it fit perfectly).
Jim B Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Nice looking trucks, Dingo. I like the Volvo. Is the last one a SAR?
Hessel Hemstra Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) I have already build a SAR. Here two photo's. Your build looks good so far Hessel Edited January 16, 2012 by Hessel Hemstra
Dingo5162 Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Sticks I agree with U on the Kenny bullbar that's Y on mine it won't be used as my truck will be a city rig, Jim yes the last one is an SAR as the lead in write up says it will become a hook loader or as more commonly known a bin truck. I appologise for the thick type on this reply but I've hit the wrong buttom somewhere along the line and don't know how to get it back without doing silly things sorry guys. Dingo
Tony Bryan Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 SAR's rule, it's the first Australian designed Kenworth, and it is also the best Hessel, nice build love to see more of it
