ntc8733 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Looks great, the CD in the player is a nice touch! can't wait to get my hands on one of these.
cowboysevens Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 now thats some nice detail inside that cab !!! the whole truck looks great
modeltruckmafia Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 Thanks everyone, I'm doing some consulting with model car garage on more truck stuff and the steering wheels is something I was talking to them about yesterday as I think it would cool to have truck size steering wheels with the same custom touches that the car ones he does. Tim the CD is a bootleg copy of Highway to Hell of course LOL
Jim B Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Didn't you start on the LoneStar P/E set? Do you think there will be one for the ProStar? As far as steering wheels go, some "stock" modern & 1990s steering wheels would be nice. The AMT steering wheels just look out of place in modern trucks.
modeltruckmafia Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 Jim Yes Bob at Model Car Garage has the Lonestar and we are still looking at what could be done.
Chuck Most Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Tim the CD is a bootleg copy of Highway to Hell of course LOL I was thinking Steppenwolf, but AC-DC works just as well.
Truck parts Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Very nice looking truck, and I like the custom steering wheel, and CD.
