MadKaw6 Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) This is one of the projects I'm currently working on. It is the Paperboy Mustang that Bill Lerner owned in the early 70s. I used the chassis and body from a Revell Blue Max kit. The engine is a 427 SOHC from a Polar Lights kit. I discovered what a great time he must have had putting that engine in the real car. Everything that needs to be changed or fabricated is done and painted. I still need to paint and letter the body. I better get to work. Edited January 26, 2012 by MadKaw6
W-409 Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Wow, those parts are looking Good so far. Very nice job with painting, and assembling too. I really like these older Funny Cars, so I'll be watching this build very surely.
MadKaw6 Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012 Thanks for the comments and for looking at my car.
Mike 1017 Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 It looks great . This is my favorite Funny Car body. There are so many racers that used this body you can build a fleet of these cars. Looking forward to see it finished
