This is one of the projects I'm currently working on. It is the Paperboy Mustang that Bill Lerner owned in the early 70s. I used the chassis and body from a Revell Blue Max kit. The engine is a 427 SOHC from a Polar Lights kit. I discovered what a great time he must have had putting that engine in the real car. Everything that needs to be changed or fabricated is done and painted. I still need to paint and letter the body. I better get to work.IMG_5577.jpgIMG_5587.jpg

Wow, those parts are looking Good so far. Very nice job with painting, and assembling too. I really like these older Funny Cars, so I'll be watching this build very surely. :D

It looks great . This is my favorite Funny Car body. There are so many racers that used this body you can build a fleet of these cars.

Hopefully you see this, This is awesome, Bill is my father and I have so many memories about this car. I would LOVE to see it done
