I FLIPPED A PIECE OF CARPET OVER AND PUT MY TABLE AND CHAIR ON TOP.

Hmmm....this is a good idea.

For those not comfortable buying this stuff or approaching female friends or relatives to purchase or relinquish old stockings, I'll bet fibreglass screen would work well, too.
