Hayabusa Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Hi everybody, is this kit any good? I know it´s a reissue from AMT, but i doesn´t seem to be exactly the same as the one Round2 is offering. Or? Any advise is very much appreciated. /Stefan
Guest Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 (edited) It's the same exact kit as the AMT kit. They're a little more expensive, but they have more decals with them. The newest version of the AMT Camaro is molded in orange while the earlier version (green Camaro on box) and the MK kit is molded in white or gray. P.S. it is a very good kit in my opinion. Also there is very little chrome in the kit because the real car had very little also. Some people complain about the wheels not being chrome, but they weren't chrome on the real car either. bbowser Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I just finished this kit. I had a good time building it, the front sub frame in particular is very cool. Only problem I had was the hood was warped, wouldn't lay flat against the front fenders the way I wanted.
sstacey47 Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Its a very nice kit. Here are some shots of the one built.
ShawnS Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Yeah that Camaro is a great kit. It puts most other AMT kits in the shade with its clean crisp detail. It's also a great source for donor parts for other Chev variants.
Hayabusa Posted January 28, 2012 Author Posted January 28, 2012 Thanks guys! That´s some nice looking builds. Personally, I think this Camaro is the best looking Camaro of all types. Well, I better order a kit, then... /Stefan
