  1. A really nice build! I like it a lot. The subtle weathering is spot on - thumbs up!
  2. Looking really good. Nice paintjob and I like the sublte chipping.
  3. Great build! What paint/color did you use?
  4. @Dave Isle - I have both the Model King issue and the Round2models issue molded in orange. Both have the same imperection on the passenger side rocker panel. Both kits also have sink marks on the roof and some other imperfections, but no big deal. The biggest problem is getting the interior & chassis fitted inside the body since the front of the dashboard panel interfere with the windshield glass. I cut away roughly 1 mm from the front edge (dash panel) and also thinned down the upper area a bit. The windshield was also thinned down on the inside. I think I dry-fitted the parts about 50 times before I was pleased, but patience goes a long way.
  5. The West Coast Model Contest, a.k.a. WeCoMoCo is an annual car model contest held in Sweden. Links with pics: http://skallerackers.se/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=12314 http://skallerackers.se/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=12315
  6. Absolutely wonderful model. Details, paint, engine...just great!
  7. I know this kit is the same as the original Lindberg kit (or is it?), but what about the decal sheet? Are the decals an exact copy? Thanks.
  8. Very nice build, Niko! The engine looks very, very good. Snyggt bygge, Niko '62 Impala är coola som f-n. Motorn har du verkligen lyckats med.
  9. @George Bluhm - Check this out: http://public.fotki.com/1320wayne/model-tips-and-tech/revell_70s_funny_car_fix/
  10. Nice kit! Glad too see it reissued. @Niko - The new Slingster is one cool kit, very nice.
  11. Nice looking Renault, Mark! Steve, that dragracing-Renault is way too cool The details, stance...just love it!
  12. That´s a great looking model! Clean & sharp, good work!
  13. From what I can see, the text on the tires read Bridgestone Potenza. Which I believe is correct for this Ferrari.
  14. @Dave Van - I understand your point of view, but like I said - for us in europe it will not be considered very expensive. In Sweden a typical Revell/AMT kit cost $40-50. As a comparison the Moebius Hudson costs a bit more than $50. I guess we´ll just have to wait and see if it´s a success or not.
  15. @mikemodeler - Yes, that´s how I figure it. However, for us living in europe it´s a different story. It will probably be favorable for us to order this kit from China.

  17. Great looking build! Very sweet!
  18. Very nice, indeed! The '66 Riviera is one of my favorite cars. Excellent workmanship.
  19. Did Gassers normally have radiators mounted? Looking at pictures, it seems that some did and som did not. The question came up when looking at the Revell '62 Corvette Gasser which not only has a radiator but also a fan & belt drive.
