  1. Beautiful, indeed.
  2. Sweet! Sehr schönes Modell, Farbe ist einfach toll. /Stefan
  3. Really cool & clean build! Color and paintwork is perfect Grattis till vinsten!
  4. Nice Super Stocker, Niko! I agree, this is a very nice kit.
  5. I like what the people at Meng are producing. I also like the fact that we have a new player in the 1/24-1/25 scale car/truck field. However, I agree with Tim Boyd concerning Revell. martinfan5 wrote: "What imported kits are trying to compare the 50 Olds and 57 Ford too ?" Good question. If Revell did not produce these kits, would they even exist? As new-tool-kits? As far as accuracy issues goes, even Meng get their share of criticism from time to time. From the Meng homepage: "This 1/24 scale Ford F-350 Super Duty plastic model kit replicates the accurate exterior of this muscle truck. The precision and complex engine bay is fully represented. Two options of the wheel hubs and side steps are provided. A moveable tailgate and a bed extender are included. Realistic metal plated parts are provided for the engine grille and wheel hubs. Metal refelctive mirror film is provided for the rear view mirrors. Lenght: 277 mm Width: 112 mm"
  6. A big, but pleasant, surprise to me! Really looking forward to this kit. As I also build AFV´s I know Meng quite well. They produce wonderful kits with a high level of detail but engineered to make them easy to build. Moulding quality is very high and fit is excellent. Personally, I think Meng is like Tamiya but with more detail.
  7. @Paul Scadden - Wow, really nice builds! @Luc Janssens - Thanks! The DTM BMW´s look very cool.
  8. Very nice & clean, indeed Lovely color!
  9. Yes, you´re right about tthe "picture-thing". I also use close-up pics to look for flaws. I checked out your dragracer - really cool! Stock/Super Stock is a really cool class with a lot of classic muscle cars. I wish you all the best for the 2014 season
  10. Looking good so far Close-up camera pics tend to be a bit deceptive, I think. The Revell Olds ´50 seems like a nice kit. Snygg motor, absolut. Ser mycket lovade ut /Stefan
  11. @DaveM - Yes, your probably right about the missing radiator hose. I like this kit also. I think it has a lot of potential.
  12. Am I blind or is there no lower radiator hose?
  13. Wow, what a nice Flopper! Brings back memories from 1980. This Flopper was bought by the norwegian Steinar Stolen in 1980 and I had an opportunity to see the car myself live in Malmö the same year. Late august or early september, if I recall correctly. There was a Dragrace event held in Malmö at an ex-airfield (Bulltofta). Seeing the California Charger in its original livery was just amazing! Steinar Stolen raced the car with a blown methanol engine in the Pro Comp class which consisted of Floppers and rail Dragsters, blown methanol or injected nitro. The all raced against each other with some sort of handicap system. Here´s a YouTube clip showing the car at Santa Pod Raceway in UK. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJ9r38I4bi4#t=30 The car was later sold to Finland where it was repainted an raced in the Super Comp class. The name of the finnish guy was Perrti soronen, I believe.
  14. Very neat! I like this car a lot, must be great seller for Revell?
  15. Very nice & clean build, Roy! Great!
  16. Nice builds, Daniel! Interesting subject, thinking of buying one from my LHS. How´s the quality of this kit?
  17. Another must have.. Agree with the decals from Uschi van der Rosten, I think they will look great on this model.
  18. Now, that´s a sweet looking Hudson! Absolutely love that colour.
