62rebel Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) GM doesn't make bad decisions.... do they? it's not like they'd kill off a beloved brand name.... only complete idiots would do that. Edited January 29, 2012 by 62rebel

Bartster Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 You're quite a plastic surgeon! That's some face-lift!
62rebel Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 that looks so much better than the Camaro.... somebody oughta pull some molds......
novadose71 Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 GM missed the boat on that one. Here's a project our club built in 2007 This one is now offered by Jimmy Flintstone. The 79 version was supposed to get cast as well but the builder couldn't bring himself to tear his apart, he started on a clone but never finished it that I'm aware of. http://s202.photobuc...bird/?start=all
Jeff Johnston Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 GM doesn't make bad decisions.... do they? it's not like they'd kill off a beloved brand name.... only complete idiots would do that. LOL I love it....
greymack Posted January 31, 2012 Author Posted January 31, 2012 I think GM should look at the video what you guys think?
kingtoy Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I did one of these once. It was a resin conversion. A little tricky but not too bad.

Thanks for posting those. Well thank you then, it was a pleasure to build. It was the first time I built up a resin body. If you like I can take some more pics of my car and send to you. I guess I could post them in the under glass section too.
Scale-Master Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 While the workmanship is nice on those, most of them just don't "flow" to me into a cohesive design. Using a retro version that emulates a 1st Generation Camaro as a base to add 2nd Generation styled Trans Am styling cues makes it clash with itself. And I am partial to the early 2nd Gen cars! This one is the closest to "keeping it in the family".
JesseJames Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) After seeing these pics I figured I'd post them here Pretty sweet! Edited February 1, 2012 by JesseJames
