crazyjim Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Looking excellent - even for a shaver based bike. Love your scratch building and detailing.
Mr.Zombie Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Off limits. That is the strangest thing ever to build from scratch, but as a fan of everything Mad Max, including painting my own Ford flat black just in case of an apocalypse, I am adoring this and can't wait for more.
Sixx Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 John man, I just checked this thread again, thanks for knot on my forehead, my head bounced off the table so freaking hard!!! For real man, that thing is so AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Outstanding as per usual man!! Sixx
GrandpaMcGurk Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 John, I had a Harley and a couple of other bikes when the 750 meet the nicest people first came out. I really wasn't into rice bikes at the time but was intrigued with the 4 hole engine and all those carbs. Anyway, I've had a couple since then and your OHV valve cover looks just fine to me!
vintagedragfan Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 John,John,John........ what can I say, excellent work as usual!! gonna be insane!
John Teresi Posted February 19, 2012 Author Posted February 19, 2012 (edited) Hello......I hinged the resin clear bubble that Greg Wann the "Master Caster" made me..........Note* I asked Greg to make me a couple of bubbles incase I ruined one ......which I did..... I dropped it and cracked it.........the one in the photo with the crack is for mock-up only.......I have a perfect one to use for final assembly.......thanks Greg for some AWESOME resin bubbles.......I added some rear shocks and a disc brake to the sidecar.......I need to make a couple of axle braces.......I also modified the carbs......which will have more detail after they are painted........I will work on the master cylinder for the foot brake tonight.......thanks for looking.
