Absolutely love this concept and keep on thinking this is the next fronteir in street rod design. Having said that, anyone attempted this? If so, photos of works in progress would be appreciated. Failing that, Mr. J, how about showing us where the cuts would be?

Jairus, I just saw you post this one over to your Fotki. Lordy, that's beautiful. Why don't they put vehicles like this out on the market? Lots of people would buy them!

Thanks, Jairus & Mike. Much easier to understand the post when there's some data.

Nice looking rods.

And, yes, I agree that the Prowler was conceived in the same vein although they didn't take an existing contemporary car's design components into account in its development as was done with the Vettester and VettesterII.

The XR-6, well that was another time and another type of build!

And that went over soooo well, nothing like a v6, two seat car for people 5'6" tall with nowhere to go over night.

.....oh wait, they made trailers for that ?

It was a neat idea, just poorly exicuted I think.
