Well actually, your answer should be "it depends on who is complaining about the moderators" according to them you are either here too much or not enough. <_<

 Exactly!

I'm always busy trying to do the impossible (please everyone)...

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't constipation quite often lead to Diarrhea? Seems quite a few have that lately, a whole bunch of useless cluttering up the forum with no value and depleting the overall body of substance?

I check it about 15 times a day...

Andy I'am about like you. Your picture (avatar) is the Kendell car out of Minneapolis driven by John Hagen. It was later sold to Bob Bueckert and Ray Swanson

from Winnipeg and wore Eastern Sales gold lettering on the 1/4 panels. What an awsome car it was in its day.

I never knew that, I just thought it was an awesome car so I made it my avatar  Thanks for that bit of info.

Thank you so much to all of you guys with nothing better to do that post personal atacks or useless comments.

Here's a suggestion: Instead of posting yet another attack on a forum member, why not post up some photos of your latest model?

Andy, hang in there it will all return to normal soon.

Rich, sorry your thread is suddenly filling up with a little methane, but we'll get it back on track as soon as the thread-wrecking-crew goes off to pester someone else.

We can only hope they find someone else to pester

Harry, that logic poses a problem-some of us don't have anything else to take pictures of!:lol::P

Rich, here's one of the many reasons I stay tuned in to this forum. To watch wonderful builders like Donn Yost (and hundreds of others) dish out the amazing styrene eye candy.

I use Donn's work not only because he is a master builder, but because, like countless others, I consider him a good friend in this wonderful hobby!

and why don't you enforce that policy on the other uselss threads? Oh wait, you have said before that nobody has to post pics of their models.

It was a suggestion. You know, something to do besides posting personal attacks on other members.

I don't decide which threads are "useless" or not, that's not up to me to decide. There is no forum rule regarding the "usefulness" of a thread, but there is a forum rule regarding personal attacks. It's up to me to decide which posts are nothing more than personal attacks on other members, and I'll delete those. Or delete the people who insist on making posts like that.

I think this community extends beyond its virtual boundaries to include folks who begin as fellow builders and friends there and then they meet up at shows, etc . . . the community extends there, making what would normally be a very lonely task into one of the best hobbies on the planet.

I come onto this Forum pretty much every day since I joined up, looking for some inspiration for my next build. I started to wonder if part of the reason that I'm experiencing the "modeling doldrums" is that between watching Speed Channel and Velocity Channel, and looking in here a couple of times a day, I'm really not leaving myself a lot of time to actually work on something.

I've also noticed that while I think that I spend a lot of time on here, there are some people who seem to make it their job to post new Thread subjects, and, to make comments and/or suggestions on almost everyone else's Threads. (Not that there's really anything wrong with that...) I know that I am retired and have a lot more "free time" than probably most of the people on this site, but at least I sign out for most of the day.

How often do you come on here, and, do you find that doing so cuts into your modeling time...???

Every day . This site consumes my build time like curse. Lol I love it.

There's always the sleepless night time . . . lots gets done if you can't sleep. Nothing better than to hit the bench when even everyone is asleep.

So far tonight I've suspended two members. They thought they were being real clever and real funny.

I have no problem suspending as many as necessary to clear out those whose only purpose is to either slam others or just cause trouble in general. I've been way too easy on you guys up to now, I always thought that a laid-back approach would make for an open, enjoyable forum where we could talk like friends. But I've learned that there are certain people here who have no intention of talking like friends, their only intention is to disrupt the forum and cause trouble.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed that my theory of treating you guys like adults, and expecting adult behavior in return, didn't pan out as I hoped it would.

So... so far tonight two are gone, and more to come if necessary. As many as I have to get rid of to return this place into a friendly forum where we can all respect people who have different opinions or personalities instead of attacking them with lame, childish posts.
