Dave Van Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Dave, I think you are right about that. I wonder how many units of the Hudson have sold already, Moebius, and Revell or AMT for that matter, don't give out sale figures for regular production kits. BUT I can say that the Tim Flock Hudson sold out all 3000 copies LONG before the kits landed in port. And the soon to be released Tim Flock 300 is heading that way fast! So all things considered going well. The new Hudson conv is really nice too. BTW which ECTO is it?? AMT or Polar Lights kit? I can't remember who did which??

Dave, why dont they release the sale figures? And AMT did Ecto 1A, and Polar lights did Ecto 1
Guest Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 (edited) I'm very excited about the 55 300, the 50 Olds, and the 57 Ford. Dr. Cranky, dont you mean the 62 Vette, not 64? Edited February 11, 2012 by midnightprowler
Dr. Cranky Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 No, they are listing a 64 Corvette Grand Sport as well. I am looking forward to the 62, no doubt.
Rob Hall Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 BTW which ECTO is it?? AMT or Polar Lights kit? I can't remember who did which?? It's a reissue of the AMT one is my understanding.
Dr. Cranky Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 This time I think many of us will stock up on these kits. I know I gotta make more room for more of these kits coming out.
Tony T Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 According to the info on Round 2's website...Build as either Ecto 1 or Ecto 1A.
Dr. Cranky Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 Tony, thanks for the link, and there's another gem coming out in a collector's edition tin: http://www.round2models.com/models/amt/chevy100-fleetline

Dr. Cranky Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 And I think they've learned their lesson to--if they are going to repop a kit--to do so in white styrene, which I confess I like and is the way to go.
