RS2000 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 It's done! I had planned to add some cool touches of paint, but for now this is it. The engine is a Nissan RB26DETT. WIP here.
ismaelg Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I'm not into hot rods but this is VERY NICELY DONE. It definitely stands apart from the crowd. The steel surfaces are very convincing. Thanks,
crispy Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 The weathering on this is very lifelike. You've caught the aura of rat-rods in my opinion. Great work! Chris
Gray Smith Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 awesome job, captures the "patina" of an old rod very well, I really like the addition of the rb25, a modern engine in an old rod appeals to me alot. Great job man. Gray
Nick F40 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 WOW! I like the engine, something different! It looks like something I would do.
Andy Wyatt Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Very nice! I usually don't like the modern engine-in-an-old-rod deal but that looks pretty cool! Great job on the weathering!
James W Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 That is just plain coool! 8) 8) 8) One question, how did you handle the matter/anti-matter engine mounts???
Matt T. Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Very nice! Your weathering & "metal" finishing is outstanding.
