Ira Posted April 10, 2012 Author Posted April 10, 2012 CLOUDS of SMOKE!!! I am using the Base from the Freddy Flypogger "Super Fuzz" Kit for Snake Fink, but it's a little too wide...so I cut out a 3/4" section of the Base. Glued it back together... Time for a quick test fit! Yep, Looks like that will do it...

Ira Posted April 14, 2012 Author Posted April 14, 2012 Ira, that snake face looks kinda creepy....yikes! I'm afraid Snake Fink is going to get a Lot Creepier...Real Soon!
Ira Posted April 14, 2012 Author Posted April 14, 2012 GETTIN' SOME AIR!!! Before I could attach Snake Fink's Dragster to the Base I had to make the Super Fuzz Axle fit the Roarin' Rail's Rear Wheels. I cut 1/4" lengths of Aluminum Tubing to fit inside the wheel and fit the axle too. Next I sanded a Flat Spot on the bottom of each Slick to increase the gluing surface. I cut the axle down in width. Then I fit the parts all together and started glueing the joints with Zap-A-Gap Glue. I also used some White Glue around where the Slicks attach to the base to help hold the Dragster in place.
Ira Posted April 15, 2012 Author Posted April 15, 2012 Ira...check these out...scroll down to the frog eyes and peek at some of the other pages. http://www.etsy.com/shop/6060 Thanks Don! When I checked out the link, I remembered, we have a couple pounds of these Plastic Eyes out in the shop...
Dr. Cranky Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 A couple of pounds? Let me guess, you must be a STYRENE ADDICT? LOL, that's looking real good, Ira. Very dramatic.

Ira Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 HOW TO MAKE A SNAKE TONGUE!!! I never thought I would say that! Don needs a Nice, Red, Forked Tongue so I thought of this... Start with a length of Insulated Wire and cut about 1/2' of the Insulation off. Then sepparate the wires into 2 parts and twist & shape to get the Tongue Look. Next I coated the bare wires with White Glue & let Dry. Apply Gray Filler/Primer and let Dry... Last a couple coats of Metallic Red!
