February 1st was the date they made the official announcement and yes, it is a big hit to the hobby as a whole.

Nope, I just ordered a whole bunch of the sheets. They are going to be around until they sell out their stock.

I ordered 5 sheets and 3 arrived yesterday. One was back ordered the other sold out.

Is Slixx going out of business? Is there any chance of anyone else taking over Slixx decal business?

I don't think the Sizemores are interested in selling. Of course, this is a great way to pare down the inventory for a new buyer. I got most of the decals I'd been putting off. Just didn't get a couple.

That prob. will not happen. I talked with them about it and the licensing expires with them, so one would have to start from scratch. Another thing, if they can not continue to make a go of it after 20 years, what makes you think someone else would. It is all about our depressed economy. They said sales have contiually been declining to the point where it was costing them money .... not sustainable.
