The repair is not perfect but I have learned a few new things and I will do better next time, if needed.

Wow! All I see is one magnificent build! Weathering, details, everything! You, Sir, are a very talented builder! Your paintjob is breathtaking, this has got to be one of the prettiest paintjobs I've seen in a looong time! Wonderful job on repairing the holes in the sleeper roof. As for alignment problems of the side skirts... On the real deal they didn't stay plumb and perfectly aligned for very long. Little things like jumping up on the steps repeatedly or light contact with a foreign object or even hitting a large pothole and jarring the attachment points could and would misalign body panels. Yours is spot on perfect! It has a VERY realistic look about it!

Another thing; You said that your roof repairs weren't perfect. That just gives the truck more character. It looks like a well maintained, very much cared for, working vehicle. I've seen many a rig with a paint patchjob here and there where the color is just slightly off or the patch is glossier than the older paint. I've done a few of these myself... :rolleyes: On such a large vehicle, it just doesn't pay to repaint a whole panel just to repair a little gouge or scrape. Once you get the fairing mounted, you'll never know it was patched. If someone comments on it, tell them their looking to closely! :);)

Again, very well done! I really look forward to seeing this completed.

Thank you very much. The truck is getting to be complete. One of the last things I had to deal with was the exhaust piping under the frame. Even though I read the warning by Tim Ahlborn that brackets on the frame may play ugly tricks, I had to find out myself. And I got into a trouble. Again...

The pipes were much too far from the brackets. So, I added a pair of tin stripes to make it look better.

Aero Kit Pete is finished. Just one last part is missing... the grab handle behind the sleeper door. I haven´t noticed that it is not there yet when I took the pictures. I will take more pictures later with the handle added. For now enjoy these:

I took the model to the Beskyd Kit Show (Czech Rep.)last weekend. The 378 standing next to it is not mine.

Such excellent weathering/grime on the frame and under body,and all the other details that you have put on there,too many to list, that thing looks absolutely real,wow such an inspiration....

Thank you for your nice words, friends. I was building this model with a plan to display it either with the aero kit on or off. Two trucks in one so to say. I only took pictures of the coplete truck because I was in a hurry to pack it up for the Beskyd Kit Show. Now, finally, I took some pics of the model with the aero parts off. I also added the fender mounted mirrors. They are much too high I think. But let´s say that the driver is a Harley-Davidson fan.
