martinfan5 Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Finished this one last week, its Tamiya Skyline R34 Vspec kit, OOB, I used MM GTS Blue lacquer with MM ultra clear coat
Scuderia Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I've always been a fan of the Skyline's and you did this one proud. Looks great.
martinfan5 Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 (edited) Thank you, I have to say, I love the R35 , but this is the best looking skyline period , its sad that this is the last one to carry the Skyline name Edited March 6, 2012 by martinfan5
Rob Hall Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 (edited) Sharp build..that bright blue seems to be the signature color of the R34, seen so many pics of 1:1s in that color...saw a 1:1 in Denver once in that color. Edited March 6, 2012 by Rob Hall
martinfan5 Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 Rob, Its close to ones that I could find pics of, but all the pics I found the paint was not metallic , and I seem to only have nothing but metallic blues on hand I would love to see a imported r34 , did you get any pics of it.

I did...but I think they were on a hard drive that later failed...this was probably back around 2004. I went to an NSX meetup w/a buddy that has an NSX and 4 Skylines showed up, all RHD MotorRex imports--2 R32s (gray and white) and two R34s (black and blue)...
jdmfan Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 you did a great job with this . looks nice and clean . i love the skylines i own a r32gtr with a r33gtr motor in it.

I really need to get a Tamiya kit soon.
Dr. Cranky Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Wonderful color, Jonathan, and I like the contrast with the wheels. Good model, buddy. Congrats.
