charlie8575 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Christian, your ideas and mine are frighteningly similar! I wouldn't mind a scale Bettie Page, either. Charlie Larkin
robertw Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Oh not another Revell Germany bus....I still haven't got their last two built. Christian, With all the time you spend "dreaming", how do you find time to build any of them. LOL All kidding aside you've portrayed many of the cars that a lot of us would love to see on a model box for real. Thanks robw
Foxer Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Christian. your dreams are encroaching on my waking hours! .. every one of them!
Junkman Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 (edited) Oh well. The world could be such a nice place... Thanks all for the kind words! For those who wonder, it doesn't take long to make those once you have your templates. The first ones took me literally hours, now I can make one in ten minutes or so. What I said before is true. I ventilate 30 years of frustration into something fun, that's my sole motivating factor. So let's all have fun with them. Edited April 19, 2012 by Junkman
hotrod59f100 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I'm liking that last set junkman . That is a cool line up of boats lol .

charlie8575 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Yes, yes, yes, especially that Country Squire. Charlie Larkin
Erik Smith Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Funny thing is, I have been eyeing this 1:1, $2000...
Junkman Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Funny thing is, I have been eyeing this 1:1, $2000... OMG do it! Nothing beats a proper cold war motor!
Junkman Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 This car is the stuff, Great work on the box art junkman.Do you have any more of this car what ever it is i love it. Hey thanks! There should be a lot of photos on the internet. Juast google Delahaye 165M. This is the original artwork I was tampering with: It's a watercolour painting by Richard Lewis.
Greg Wann Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I would like a Buick Park Avenue. 74 to 76 maybe. There was a year that they were a four seat car with a console that ran the length of the interior. Pretty fancy too.

There was a year that they were a four seat car with a console that ran the length of the interior. Pretty fancy too. Any '74 - '76 Electra would do it for me, thank you. I'd be happy to oblige, but I can't find suitable pictures to start with. It really is as if they wanted to throw a big blanket over this era and have us forget the cars ever existed. Well, I got news for them, whether they like it or not.
charlie8575 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I like the Minor and the Empress. I belive you could buy those in the U.S., too, so if they were made with LHD dash, so much the better. Charlie Larkin
Jodah Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I still dream of modern truck models, like, 06 dodge ram mega cab with the cummins, crew cab chevies with the duramax, or even some of the newer fords with 7.3's or even the 6.4's. >_< I have an obsession with duallies...
peekay Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Christian, if you were King of the World it would be a much better place!
Junkman Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Christian, if you were King of the World it would be a much better place! ROFL I'm quite convinced there are people who are qualified for the job a lot better than I am. But thanks anyway.
