Mr.Zombie Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Good evening! I showed you some pics of this one a while ago, but since then it got a major overhaul. Still fond of the stance, I couldn't stand the paintjob, so I washed off all the saltcrust that was supposed to imitate a dry lakes car, and painted it with what I can. Rust. It is still a 32 Coupe that was built out of the horrible Millners coupe kit, with parts out of the 29 Pickup from Revell, a Pontiac mill, scratch carbs, channeled, lowered alot, scratch interior, scratch headers and intake, wired and so on... Hope you enjoy. See you next time. Thanks.
rmvw guy Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 (edited) I don't remember the first one but, I like this one. Nice pictures, the texture of the ground go with the car. I think Dr. Cranky will like this one. Nice job! Where did you get those rear tires? I like them a lot. Edited March 13, 2012 by rmvw guy
patami Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Once again we r talking HOT RODDING. Thats the way how a hot rod should look like.
krazyglu Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Now that is one killer looking '32. I really like the shiny patchwork metal, looks quite convincing. That front axle looks just right with the chips and rust.
Albie D Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Love this car. I second the question. Where did you get the rear tires?
Mr.Zombie Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 Rear Tires are Tamiya FAMO Halftrack... Fit the scale. Nice detail. Unusual tread.
trogdor Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Very cool. It's like Chuck Most and Dr Cranky had a baby. I mean that as a very sincere compliment.
trogdor Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Who is Chuck Most please? He's a builder on this forum who builds a lot of rods similar to what you did.
outlaw035 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 adam...really "KQQL"...sits just right...engine is awesome...
Danno Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Very cool. It's like Chuck Most and Dr Cranky had a baby. I mean that as a very sincere compliment. OMG! There's a mental image I'll never be able to shake! Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! = That's shock and aaaaaaaaaaaargh, Jim!
Jantrix Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 (edited) Nice work. Lots of attitude. I like it a lot. Edited March 14, 2012 by Jantrix
shucky Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Agree with everyone else. Looks awesome! Love the rear tires too, I was gonna ask as well lol.
Dr. Cranky Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Adam, this rat has a lot of attitude. I really like it, and the pictures are pretty cool too.
