1964 Ford Fairlane "Street Burner" (Updated)

I started this one about a week ago for a local show that will be held next sunday at a nearby shopping mall.

I decided to paint it on Tamiya "Pure White" white to give it a "sleeper" look . Interiors will be flat black and I added 19" CL on front and 23" on the rear. I will also add some wiring to the engine and an MCG tachometer kit.

I am glad you like it... I am using Tamiya lacquers to speed up some projects so I can bring new builds to our CSAE on November as well as a couple of more detailed projects I am working on at the same time.

I'm not much of a Ford man, but I just bought that kit, and I have a '60 Falcon on my bench. Where did you get those wheels!!!! I gotta have a set (or two) The White is very clean looking on those cars, may have to paint mine white

Here are a couple of progress pics.

The engine is done and in place. The interiors are finished exept for some decals on the dashboard that I will lay down tonight. Hopefully tommorrow I will have the windshields in place and install the bumpers, door handles etc. and that will be it.

Here is a pic of the engine in place wich still needs some work on the wiring and a couple of extra details.

The chasis is almost done, exept for a conector pipe on the exahaust that hopefully will be installed tonight.

One of my all time favorite cars. Very nice build...
