So I'm new at this...currently working on my second model ever. I've been through the under glass forum and the engine detail is amazing. I was wondering if anyone can share with me on how to do the wiring and where to buy the materials also. The model I'm working on is a Rebellion 70 Boss 429. I would also like different wheels for it. Please help.

There are so many place's to buy what you could ever want for this hobby, I am going to give you link that has a very long list of after market sellers http://www.rocketfin.com/model_car_links.html

I buy my spark plug wire from scale dreams, you have to spend a $10 minimum, but the shipping is cheap and great guy to deal with http://stores.scaled.../Categories.bok

As for wheels, there are again so many different places to get the wheels you want.

OK. So does anyone have any tips or a guide for wiring the engine...I've got a reference for the firing order. I'm just not sure how to actually do it and have it turn out good. Thanks alot guys.

I have only done it twice. My first time I tried to glue the wires to the kit distributor and they ended up caked with glue. my second time a made a distributor out of sprue then ended up making a magneto.

Telephone wire is too large a diameter, but you can use the insulation for boots. The wire from Scale Dreams is much better. I did a tutorial for a Fatkidd style distributor. You might want to give one a try.

i use 30 gage wire from radio shak, and telephone wire for the boots... the 30 gage wire comes in loads of colours and also in LONG lenghts so it'll last a life time lol

While we are on the topic of details, how do yall make smaller details pop? For example I'm working on a Vette and I'm trying to make the "Corvette" on the back bumper stand out.
