In case you noticed, or been wondering, I've been away for a while. Had another blood clot in my leg, had to have two surgeries and I'm starting over for the third time. I'm sad, mad, confused, hurting, adjusting to new drugs, crabby and depressed, unmotivaded, but as you know, I don't and will not give up. "I'll be back" !

Just for fun, here's a foto of my L'il dawg Butchy taking a break from the 85 degree heat a cupla days ago, when I supervised the installation of my ne Lakewood traction bars I bought before I had my stroke.

Glad you're back, hope you're feeling better soon. Smart dog, and, speaking for myself, I wouldn't mind seeing more pictures of the car--I can always look at a '55 Chevy, and yours looks kinda interesting...

Dave, good to hear from you. I was thinking of you just yesterday when the subject of project Snowball ll came up on another forum.

well; the weathering job looks convincing, especially the rust poking through the paint around the trunk, but you really should Alclad that bumper. you chipped some paint gluing on the passenger side tailllight, too.... and where did you get that scale dog? very lifelike. not too many people put in the bracing between the floor and back window when they take out the back seat, either; nice touch!

good photography, to make it look so lifelike! almost like you could get in and turn the key....

Good to see you post Dave!

Sorry to hear you are still having issues. Hopefully they will get the meds right soon!

Dave, glad you are back! I like your "Fail to quit" outlook! If you feel like you're hitting the bottom, cheer up! Things can only go back up from there!

I'd tell you to 'hang in there', but clearly you're a fighter all the way. The Chevy's sweet and the fact that you continue to invest time and money in it is all the convincing I need to know that you're gonna be right back in the mix sooner rather than later.

Take care, Man!! :) :)

Hey Dave keep on keepin' on, my friend. I know too well how it is to have your body flip ya the bird, moon ya, and cut ya off in traffic every day. Just gotta tell it how it is and keep goin' right? :D

Easier said than done, I know. It's all good though. If I can do it, you can too.

Cheers!
