Danger Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Here's a story from Haggerty regarding a car collector who also built models and now collects them. Neil Peart from RUSH. http://www.hagerty.com/classic-car-articles-resources/Magazine/Special-features/All-Articles/2012/02/23/Rush-drummers-models Enjoy. Danger
peter31a Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Now how cool is that? And he used to build while on the road. Not what you expect from a rock musician. I like his 1:1's too.
SuperStockAndy Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) I posted a topic about him building models a while back. Weird coincidence huh? Rush is my favorite band, this just makes them that much more epic to me Edited March 26, 2012 by SuperStockAndy
kitbash1 Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Ran into him at Mini Grid in Toronto last year. Very cool guy.

Jantrix Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 This doesn't surprise me. He's a car guy and an artist. Being a modeler is result of that. And man, if puts even half the dedication into his models as he does his drumming............wow.
Eshaver Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Now when is some body gonna suggest playing the album Power Windows while looking at this , huh ? Ed Shaver
SuperStockAndy Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Now when is some body gonna suggest playing the album Power Windows while looking at this , huh ? Ed Shaver I'm playing La Villa Strangiato as I type this.
Rob McKee Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Often I find those who are into music either just to listen to or to play an instrument build models. Rod Stewart is an avid model railroader and takes his projects with him on the road. He often rents additional space in the hotel he is staying at to work on his project. Bruce Dickenson of Iron Maiden is also a model railroader. I am sure there are many others who build.
brad4321 Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Cool! Their music is impossible to listen to, but cool to see others have the disease.
