W-409 Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Very nice body work with the GTO! It's always nice to see when someone has enough patience to do bodywork like that. I know that I get usually fed up with it, and then the model might stay on the stash for a long time before it gets back on the bench. Maybe I would paint those wheels like this, they would look more Old School.
tim_g Posted June 25, 2012 Author Posted June 25, 2012 okay there is something wrong with me....... putting on battery cable ends on a 1/25 scale car took three tries but I did it!

tim_g Posted July 18, 2012 Author Posted July 18, 2012 nice engine work... what did you use for the fuel line connector and fuel filter... Fuel filter I made out of plastic tube..........and fuel line fittings I used wire.....the same wire I used to make spark pluge wire boots.
george 53 Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 They only thing wrong with this kit(other than being 24th scale) is that you CANNOT make a PURE STOCK model of this car. UNFORTUNATELY, it comes with a 1969 dashboard. Little thing, I know, BUT it IS wrong in that depatment! The 68 GTO had a 68 ONLY dashboard! It was ONE YEAR ONLY design, and it changed for 69. Steve Milberry turned me on to that fact when he sent me a 68 resin cast dashboard he made. I got a unbuilt 68 off the bay, and sure enough, he's right! Since then ,I've always trusted his advice!
stulee11 Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 this is turning out amazing.... can i ask tho where did you run the battery wires to ?
