Terry Jessee Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 ...there was Etzel's Midget. This is a 1955 Kurtis Midget from Etzel's Speed Classics. It's a resin and white metal kit. I sold this, but got it back damaged. The windshield was missing, so I used one from the Revell kit. I added a baseplate from foil with some photoetched rivets. It was more sleek in the original form, but it's still pretty cute. Here's the original version. This is a fuel-injected version as denoted by the multiple intake stacks. The big windshield looks kind of gawky, but it's still racy. It was a great kit. Terry
Chuck Most Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I was expecting to see a buildup of the Monogram midget... pleasant suprise! Fantastic job on that one.
bbowser Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Very nice. I've got to get one of the Revell kits I guess.
Art Laski Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 The Etzel's are great and you did a terrific job on it. -Art
