250 Testa Rossa Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 I just purchased a Moebius 1955 Chrysler 300. I plan on superdetailing the kit, and the engine as well. Could you tell me where the ignition wires go after being installed from the distributor cap? Thanks.
Chuck Most Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 The go in through the valve covers like all Mopar Hemis, but the Moebius kit has the plug wire covers molded to the valve covers. I'd cut a small hole just behind the rear of this cover (it is the rectangular piece with three simulated screws) and insert the wires off the distributor into that.
Chuck Most Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Not the greatest pics, but this might give at least something of a visual http://www.hemihaines.com/images/gallery-early/392%20Hemi%201994.jpg http://www.lakeheaders.com/images/392_hemi_1.jpg
W-409 Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 I did just like Chuck said to my '57 Chrysler 300C project, and here's one shot where you can see, where I drilled those holes. Hope This Helps.
