Kaleb Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 (edited) It's a little roughshod but it'll do. I'll clean her up and go to work on the engine. What do you think? I also have the starter solenoid wired. Btw this is my first time do this. Edited April 12, 2012 by Kaleb
SuperStockAndy Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 (edited) How do you have the patience to do that? It takes forever to drill each hole and it just annoys the heck outta me. Edited April 12, 2012 by SuperStockAndy
Kaleb Posted April 12, 2012 Author Posted April 12, 2012 Actually I Only drilled two holes one in the very center, for a pilot. Then chose a drill bit just tad bit smaller than the distributor and went about half way down. I also used a little larger wire for the plug boot to take up some room. The red wire is a little larger in dia. For the coil. Pretty good huh lol 15 min before I was confused as a republican.
race06 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 What the heck U doin/is it? looks like it might work doe, hehe.
Dr. Cranky Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Looks like you got yourself a wired distributor there. Nice.

crazyjim Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 The pic I see is too blurry to recognize anything, Josh. Have you tried the Fatkidd style distributors? You might like them.
Kaleb Posted April 12, 2012 Author Posted April 12, 2012 Never heard of them. Andy I'll post more on it later down the road. Lol it does seem a bit confusing.
crazyjim Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 I did a tutorial. You'll have to search the tips & techniques section. Fatkidd showed me how to make them. They're easy, look good, and can be easily wired in the correct firing order.
