aurfalien Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 (edited) It's unbelievable what detail you all are able to accomplish on a 1/24 scale. I'm finishing my first and boy do I have an immense amount of respect for you masters. Which it seems, most all of you are. All the more from me to learn from Edited January 8, 2015 by aurfalien
Exotics_Builder Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 I always meant to ask what color you used to replicate the interior?
Matt Bacon Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 Odd to see this one pop back to life! Thanks for the kind words, all. Gerry, the interior is done with Vallejo Model Air colours: yellow and fiery red mixed to give the orange, then it's slightly "toned down" (believe it or not) with some of their "medium flesh tone" which is more of a golden brown... bestest, M.

Thanks, I've been experimenting with their paints but have yet to apply. I was looking into a combination to make the Tobacco leather color seen in some classic Ferraris.

I think one of their flesh tones is more or less bang on: If that's the "tobacco" colour you're thinking of, of course... I think that's "golden flesh", IIRC. bestest, M.
heptoman Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 This is a great build. Big fan of Astons - and this kit is on my wishlist. Love the paint scheme. Keep it up!
