Mixing Paint

I need to mix a dark green paint but all I have is gloss green. How do I mix the green paint with black to get the desired color? Do I just add black to the green thin and airbrush?

Yellow mixed with black makes a dark green color, kind of a hunter green.......

I need darker than hunter green. I don't have any yellow though.

Black and green will make dark green. Try small quantities in different ratios and see what you get.

Yellow and black make brown.

Patrick, if you add black use just a tiny amount because a little goes a long way! You can also darken your green by adding a little bit of red; but be careful because too much red will yield a ruddy brown color instead of a darker green.
