brett Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 My two day slump buster (I hope) yep gasp horror lol I un pro streeted the 70 superbee to build a stock one, Switched most of the parts out with the ones from the AMT 68 road runner kit, steel wheels came from the AMT duster. Paints a Dupli color touch up can,Turbine Bronze I think. Decals are a bit shot on the drivers side, will replace when I get round to it I know theres a stock kit out there already but I had these kits already with plans a little racier for the RR so it worked out perfectly in that respect
kruleworld Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 wow, that's sweet. i like the color. and you've got the pro street chassis for another project.
Bartster Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 How sweet it is, indeed. Looks so real. One of my buddies in H.S. had a '70 this color, without the vinyl. Good job.
jdmfan Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 It looks good . I like the color . I built a couple pro touring one a few months back
Reeves Racing Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 The steerable front wheels are a nice touch Brett
Harry P. Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Nice to see a stock version, but you have a weird curvy thing going on where the vinyl roof ends on the C pillar...
Dominik Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I agree to Harry. the complete car looks very good. the only mistake, i saw while i was looking at your Superbee is the points that you wrote and the curvy line on the right C-pillar...perhaps, you can make the small chromtrim on it like the original has?
