  1. Well I guess I'm Out of Here. I'm not Paying Photo Bucket $249.00 so I can Post pictures to this Forum, or any other forum. When I can Post all day to Face Book, in Multiple Groups, for free, right from my computer. Is there a way to post to this forum, with out a photo Bucket style service?

  3. Thanks Guys, I can find all kinds of photos of the Blue and Gold # 17, but the solid Gold #17 is quite elusive, as are the Decals. I've found bits and pieces of them on several different decals sheets. Thanks Daddyfink, for the pictures. I didn't have the top Action shot.
  4. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like it !!
  5. Well I got the body in color now, I think it turned very nicely. I have only one spot of lint in the hood, Yeah !! . I haven't buffed or added any clear , this is straight up Paint and thinner. I've detailed the wheels , & Mocked up the body to the chassis just to see what it looks like,. I don't have the correct Mustang GT Rocker stripe so I will use a stripe kit from a AMT 1967 Mercury Cyclone GT kit. and GT emblems from a AMT 1966 Fairlane GT GT/A kit. I'll BMF the Windshield frame after I put the glass in, to keep from breaking the frame and to get a better finished product. Let me know what you think. Thanks for Looking, & enjoy.
  6. Great Idea!! I wish I would have seem this post before I painted it!!! LOL!! I lost internet access for a bit. but work continued on the Mustang.
  7. Here's a Original Issue AMT 1968 Torino GT re-builder, That was built as a Nascar back in the day. I have taken it apart, Stripped, and repaired the passenger side "A" pillar. Now I want to build the Hallman/Moody David Pearson # 17, not the one everyone thinks of First. The one I want to build is the Gold #17, that ran a 366 engine, It was the Early 68 Season before the rule change allowing the 427's to be run on the tracks. But I'm having a very hard tine finding , the correct decals. Here are a couple of pictures of the real car and then my Torino. Please, let me know what you think about my project. Thanks for looking, & Enjoy.
  8. Wow!! I finally got back to the bench this evening. I shot some primer on the body, now I can start filling the low spots, and smoothing things up. I also had stripped the chrome off a set of the Styled steel wheels, cleaned up the beads area where they were sprued to the trees. I shot the black base for the Alclad chrome. I also shot some color on the valances, not the best job, but it will work for now. Let me know what you think, please. Thanks for Looking & Enjoy
  9. ?I got a little time at the Work Bench today, and I finished the wiring, & got the engine installed into the Vintage 1966 Mustang GT convertible. I have a ton of stuff to do, before I start priming it. I'm thinking the engine might sit a little to high, but I haven't tried the hood yet. But Core support & firewall are not installed either. I'll check that out, later.
  10. Awesome !!!!!!!!!! I Love it!!!!
  11. That might be a good one!! To bad I just sold my 32 Ford Sedan kit !!!!
  12. Awesome !!!!!! That's just to Cool!! The intake is from the original kit, it was for the Cross Ram style intake, with dual Carbs. That's a cool reuse of old parts!!! Here's a original engine from a 1968 Torino GT fastback. it has the complete intake a carb set up.
  13. I sure wish I knew of a Better SMF for this one. The 289 for these are not the best in the model world. Any suggestions??
  14. Very Cool Ron, Drag that bad Boy out, and Get busy!! LOL!! Thank you. It's been a busy couple of weeks for me. My wife was Diagnosed with breast cancer about 3 weeks ago, so I've not had any time for the Work bench. It's all been about Dr's appointments, and her treatment. I hope to get back after these Mustangs, very soon.
  15. Sweet looking ride!! You're correct about the Bumper guards, & the back up lights. The Bumper guards would be right in the middle of the trumpets. And back-up lights were standard equipment of 66's, I believe, Optional in 65. I've owned several real 65 & 66 Mustangs, never a GT. I had a 66 coupe with Pony interior, "A"code 289 4v, 4spd. it had the Console, everything a GT would have, but was not a GT. It had a standard 66 Grill, & Rear Valance. I also owned a early 65 Fastback, "A" code 289 4v, 4 spd, Standard interior, with a Console, Non GT cars. The Only original GT, I've ever owned was a 67 Fastback "S" code 390, 4 spd.
  16. My Original AMT 66 GT kit, is in rough shape, all the scripts have been sanded off, and one door cut open.
  17. Wow that would be really Cool!! I don't know if you noticed but in the vert someone started sanding the gas cap off, so I went ahead and finished taking it off. This is a earlier picture but you get the idea.
