jjsipes Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Here is the start of my Chrysler C-300 kit. I have painted it Testors Lacquer Itailan Red and clear coated it with Tamiya Clear. I don't know if I will polish this out or not, looks pretty good I think right now. I have painted the interior Model Master Dessert Tan with Tamiya Semi-gloss clear over that, need to get a few pics of the interior yet.
sjordan Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Nice paint work, but the photos make it look a lot more like the popular salmon pink of the 50s and not red at all.
cruz Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Paint looks good but why leave it like that when you can make that paint really sparkle with a little elbow grease?
jjsipes Posted April 20, 2012 Author Posted April 20, 2012 Yeah I will probably rub it out a little but I am very pleased with the paint job as is since it is straight out of the can no airbrush on this one.
jjsipes Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) Has it really been that long since I worked on this? Back on this one soon as well as the 56 300 from Moebius Edited January 13, 2016 by jjsipes
jjsipes Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) After 4 years I have finally finished this one up. Wow this kit has been out this long already. Great kit, have a few more to build. Loving the Moebius Kits. See Pictures in "Under the Glass" Edited April 11, 2016 by jjsipes
